Hey all, I’m an extremely amateur mechanic fumbling my way along. Trying to replace the pulley below the gear box on my belly mower rc60-82h but can’t remove the box. I’ve got the brackets off the sides and blade removed but don’t know what to do next. Any help is greatly appreciated.
How does the gear box come off a rc60-82h belly mower?

Looked at a parts manual yet? I think the only thing you might be missing in your removal is a snap ring on the blade side of the spendle. Clean the dirt and grease good and see it there is one in the spendle at the lower portion of the shaft where the blade bolts too.
Not sure if they all have have snap rings but the first time I took mine apart I didn't see it because all the crud.
