I stand on the front tire and use a funnel and pour from 5 gal cans. I use the loader arm to steady the can until I'm up top and ready to pour.
I buy off road diesel at the pump for .40 -.50 less.I have 4 Kubotas so I use a 250 gallon tank with an electric pump. The local fuel dealer here will furnish or lease a tank at lost cost if you buy from them. The smallest amount of fuel they deliver is 100 gallons. This is a lot cheaper than the gas station because there is no highway or fuel tax on it. You may save 50 to 60 cents per gallon. Beware if you buy farm diesel there are no taxes on and it is colored red so you should not run this in your truck.
You will have to add stuff to keep water in check and to keep it from gel'n up .I buy off road diesel at the pump for .40 -.50 less.
I've been thinking about getting a large tank and having it filled once or twice a year...
That's what I figured. I only burn around 60-80 gallons a year. You will have to add stuff to keep water in check and to keep it from gel'n up .
I have a 200 gallon tank . But I don't use enough fuel to keep it fresh . It's better if ya don't use a ton of fuel to just buy it out the pump when ya need it that way it's fresh .
Not worth having a tank then .That's what I figured. I only burn around 60-80 gallons a year.
