I guess the retainer that holds this bar on wore out, and the bar came off the pin. I can't seem to be able to get it back on no matter what position I put the deck in. Any suggestions would be appreciated! By the way, it does not seem to effect the cutting in any way, but I don't like not having everything just right.

Looks like the bracket with the pin needs to be lowered down which will allow the bracket to come forward some. It looks like the slot in the deck bracket which has the adjusting bolt isn't perfectly vertical so it should come forward enough to connect the horizontal bar with the hole in it. Kinda hard to tell by the upside down pic. Might need to put something under the deck on that side when you lower it down to let the pin bracket drop down fully. With the way it sits now, I don't think trying to raise the bracket with the hole up to the pin will ever work. It's possible that something has been torqued at some point in time which has made that connection a little off line.

There are 2 bolts with locking nuts above the bars and mounting points needs to be backed off for the bars to move to me able to be connected.
Not having the bar connected will just bend the deck.

And while you have it off you might want to see how bad the retainer is worn, and then grind it round, put it together and weld a flat washer on to the top of the pin,, mine did the same thing, come to find out a lot of people have don't the same mod to keep it together

Thanks! By removing those bolts and beating on the yoke with which holds the pins with a rubber dead blow hammer I was able to loosen the assembly and using a crow bar was able to line up the pins and get it back on.
