Yesterday, had the grand kids over. I was out doing chores with my G2160 and my oldest little granddaughter was watching and wanted to go on a ride. (3 and a half YO). the littler one 2 YO is scared but she was all good riding in the cart with her sister and her Nona. The 3+ YO one was loving it

My 3 year old granddaughter likes to ride on my tractor as well as my Model T. She keeps asking to go for a ride on the Harley but she is too young for that yet.
I was letting her turn the steering wheel LOL. When my daughter and her dad came last night for the kids after work, she was jumping out of her skin telling her how she "drove" papa's tractor. Unlike so many I have been very lucky in that my power steering works like a champ

It's funny that your granddaughter calls you papa. Mine does too. She calls my wife grandma but she calls me papa. She started calling me that before she learned how to say grandma. Even after she realized that I am grandpa, she just stuck with papa. She is the only one of my 9 grandchildren that calls me that.
Kaia (her name) likes to step on the treadle to make us go and then the brake when it is time to stop. Sometimes she likes to try to steer us in a different direction than I want to go. She is pretty strong so I actually have to use some real effort to overcome her effort.
She also wants to go to the garage every time that I go out there. She has no fear and is very observant. Kids these days are smart and really want to learn. If you teach them, they will learn.
