If my memory serves, you don't even have to take the hinge bolts out, just loosen them enough to allow the hood to come off the hinge pins.

Be sure to disconnect the headlight wiring first.

Yeah... I think once the bolts are backed halfway off, you just lift up on the hood and pull it forward and it comes off. Look at where the bolts are and you'll see the channel the pin slides through. The bolt just blocks it when tight.
