They have really come a long way since I was in the alarm buisiness.
I installed cameras that hook to wifi at my sons house. They needed a way to record events going on around the outside of their home. Once the cameras are alarmed, they send an alert to your phone when tripped. And you can access a site to veiw and download the recordings.
You can also talk to someone through the cameras
That turned into some interesting arguments between my son and his wife when he was at work and started messing with her
Son also has gotten onto the kids when they were out of line as well
