So after looking every where possible for 5/8 lower link pins for my L3600 I finally gave up and made some myself..
Sometime in it's life the orginal pins were changed out, I wanted some that had the swivels like these for ease of use..

I could not find any in the 5/8" by 2.5" length that I needed, so I finally gave up and bought some that were 4.5" long went out to the shop and cut them down..
Some time on the grinder, and a few minutes on the drill press and I have some custom fit pins exactly how I wanted them.

Easy to adjust, and small enough to fit correctly :D as you can see it the pic any thing much longer would be hitting the Turnbuckle :(

ah yes
necessity is the mother of invention.
Did you kick yourself and say 'why did I not do that earlier?'

Looks alot better then the bolts and nuts I put threw mine. I have a few nails threw some parts at the upper end of the hitch. It was a quick fix when hitch pins fell out...

They look great. It is satisfying to solve a challenge yourself. Good job!
I utilize the internet before I start driving around looking for hardware. McMaster-Carr and Grainger are good resources to get a look at hardware, as you work out what might fit the bill. Their prices are usually better, too. Specialty hardware is expensive at a local hardware store or Lowe's.
