I need to get my tractor, mini-ex, splitters, implements, etc. out of the weather this winter. Have a small barn shed but it can only hold 1 vehicle. Eventually will build a real-sized barn or equipment shed but won't happen anymore this year. Has anyone used a greenhouse/high tunnel for equipment storage? I see local farms have been doing this. This is something I can have up in 4 weeks as permit is not required and I can assemble myself (with calling in favors with friends.) I imagine heat and moisture will have to be vented. I can get one with 10 feet door and cross strut vertical clearance. I am not purchasing through the NRCS grant program so there are no restrictions on what I can put inside. Thanks, gang.

Other than keeping the rain/snow off, they don’t protect the equipment from the sun. Plus they can get very hot inside during the day. The plastic doesn’t have a long life span. Better off with hoop building like a Shelterlogic or other brand that use dark colored tarps. Keeps the UV Rays out.
