Looking for input on the features listed in the title. I seem to recall folks having issues with the hubs on hexagonal axles on B6200's. Is this an issue? Can it be avoided by keeping the hubs tight? Bi speed turn seems like adding complexity to answer a question that I never asked. Does it ever cause issues? or is it fairly benign? Other input on a B2400?

Most of the hub problems on the old B's were due to wear and people never tightened them. One could also say a bad design as the new style hubs are far superior but that's the case in all things. As far as the 2400 goes though the hub design is very similar to the new style sold for the b6200 b7100 etc. Bi-speed does have its own set of issues. I have 2 2400 and a few parts tractors but none are bi-speed. Never owned a bi-speed myself but have lots of people looking for parts for them.
The Bi-Speed turn feature is limited to the front axle only.
The hub issues where they come loose or break is on the rear of older pre B2400 era machines, so the two are unrelated....
