Just purchased a used L2800 HST about 3 months ago. (appox 100 hours on it). The hydraulics in the loader, backhoe and power steering all have developed a jerky motion in them. Any hints?

I would start with changing your fluid and filter .

Push the 3 point hitch lever down a little and see if it has the hydraulics deadheaded. If it has, you should hear a hydraulic whine.

Check to see if your tractor has a suction screen, if so remove and clean. Also, check for any leaking lines that could be letting air into the system.

Check your suction hose at the hydraulic pump, just forward of the brake pedals. Very common to have a split in it that lets it suck in air.
