We live in Northern Utah, and have lots of nocturnal visitors including mountain lions and bobcats. Usually you just get a tiny glimpse of them http://instagr.am/p/CpzvWabuDaX/ but early this morning my security camera caught a bobcat up close and personal as the cat walked over what should be (if not for all the snow) an eight foot fence. He popped into our yard and then walked on the top of the fence as casual as can be. I just thought it was cool and wanted to share.

They’re down here in Central Texas also…. a bobcat was in my backyard just a couple weeks ago. I hope he’ll eat some squirrels and keep them off my peach trees.

Bobcats and Fishers have gotten common here.

Cute as hell, saw a couple Bobcat kittens near the road few years ago. They were about size of a small house cat.

Take them over a Fisher. Fishers can be a little nasty. Have a vocalization that can curl your hair….😳

I've always liked Bobcats and Lynx. I've seen the foot prints on our property; but, haven't seen the cats.

bobcats make good mounts. I had one at the old house, left it there when I moved. Dumb mistake. I didn't take it, it was given to me by my old boss who harvested it at deer camp

when I was a young'n I was walking through the woods behind the hosue. Walked right up on a littler of bobcats and bobkittens. They weren't but a few days old and momma was NOT happy that I was there. Thankfully they ain't real aggressive toward humans. They usually run off. And they do NOT like to be noticed. At all. That's why you don't see them very much. They see, smell, or hear you miles before you ever get near where they are.

old neighbor had some bobkittens (if that's what they called) he tried to raise as pets. YOu can take them out of the wild but you can't take the wild out of the cats. They were real cute when young. Extremely playful and extremeily strong for their size. They grew up and as they did, it was perfectly clear that they were not ordinary cats. They hated humans and made it clear every single time you got close. He eventually turned them loose. Still see at least one from time to time and I don't gripe. They are good ratters and mousers. And rabbiters. We are overrun with rabbits.

Bobcats and bobcat videos (on my game cameras) very common on my property. Deep East Texas is saturated with them.

Every now and again I will see on from my deer stand. They are quite a creature. Fun to watch, but it doesn't take them too long to realize something seems wrong and leave.

This one cleared a 6 foot chain link fence to get at my chickens. Died of lead poisoning...
