Hey guys, I know there are a few hyd gurus here, I hope you can help me- I bought a new L3200 with 2 sets of rear hyd remotes. Well, when it showed up it only had one. How do I plumb in another set? what do I need? I am a mechanic by trade I just don't know much about hydraulics. Do I just replace the single spool valve with a 3 spool? I appreciate any guidance you can give me.... this has been a really BAD experience and I am just going to do it myself rather then have them do it.

If you paid the dealer for them I would make them finish the job. Adding remotes isn't a bad job but it's hard to say what you need to do without knowing what the dealer has already installed.
Thanks burt- that might be a good choice... It sounds like the dealer might be seeing it my way in the fact I did pay for 2 and not one... we will see...
Just curious, what do you need dual remotes on a tractor that size? You must have a special need for that option.
At first I was setting it up I was not sure- I figured it was the time if I ever needed remotes. I have it plumbed so there are quick disconnects @ the spool valve so I can plug a backhoe in, and I am playing around with the idea of a top/tilt. I have a 1/2 mile road that will be raked with this machine so that might be handy. And maybe a splitter if mine ever dies, who knows....
Better to have to much than not enough. If I had it to do over again I would have plumbed dual remotes on my L3000 instead of a single. I have never needed 2 sets but can't ever tell.

I have never bought anything new until this tractor and prob never will again. I wont even say what I have in this machine here, but it is way to much. Whatever, I just wont do it again. On the off chance I do, I will prob buy a JD, the dealer is close and I guess good people to deal with. I have figured out that it is a very important factor, having a good dealer. Oh well.
Unless your Kubota dealer really jacked you up add about 20% to your price for a new JD. The bad thing about that is that all JD's from 90 hp down are made by Yanmar.
