This orange dipstick at the back of the tractor is where I added motor oil! I feel so stupid! If you have any doubt I would drain the system, change the filter and refill with the correct fluid.
Thanks!Yes, drain and change filters right away. These things happen, just be glad you caught it.
Lol!
You wouldn't happen to know which filter, there's no Kubota dealer near me, unsure what cross reference with this filter.Yes, drain and change filters right away. These things happen, just be glad you caught it.
Yeah, having trouble taking old one off...Take the number off of your existing filter, and go on the net looking for cross reference numbers to other filters.
Thanks, that's why I wanted to know filter number, just make 1 trip to parts store, but need to buy filter wrench to get it offTake the number off of your existing filter, and go on the net looking for cross reference numbers to other filters. Take the old filter with you to a parts supply store, and they should know how to cross reference it as well.
And don,t forget to pick up the correct amount and type of new transmission fluid as well.
On my way now to get oil filter wrenchCan you see the number on the stock filter ?Do you have a good oil filter removal wrench ? Can you snap a photo with your cellphone ? Don,t forget to get the proper type and amount of new transmission fluid as well. You might even want to upgrade to the better sudt type, which supposedly helps your tractor run quieter. Get yourself ready for a shock when you see the price. It is expensive, but from what others are saying, is worth the extra money for the better product.
Yeah, gonna go to Kubota dealer tomorrow and get what I need! ThanksHave you got your owner's manual? This information is in there in the maintenance section. If you have an hst you want to stick with Kubota oil and filter for the transmission in my opinion. The new tractors come with SUDT2 in them. You can order online from Colemans or Messicks, or nearest dealer may ship you what you need. There seems to be less consensus that you need to stick with Kubota engine oils. More people think it is worth it to stick with Kubota filters.
Nothing in the manual about the filter though. [emoji852]***65039;Yeah, gonna go to Kubota dealer tomorrow and get what I need! Thanks
