I live 300 miles from the closest Kubota shop. Yesterday my Kubota BX23S had issues. Turns on fine, idling is good, when power is engaged and accelerator is pressed to put tractor in motion it shuts off. Turns back on fine. Problem only exists when you try to put tractor in motion. Tractor still moves but can only move very very slow and if you accelerate it shuts off. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad occupant switch (seat sensor). If you disconnect the plug under the seat and run a jumper wire across the two pins on the side not connected to the seat does it stay running?

Haven't tried that, i did lift the seat and noticed two switches and not sure if they both work with the seat

There's an operator bypass switch for using the PTO with the driver not in the seat, such as a wood chipper, if I remember correctly it's on the left side and activates when the seat is tilted up. I seem to remember that does not bypass the forward/backward pedal so if the pedal is not in neutral the engine should kill. The other connection should connect to the front right of the seat and that is the operator sense switch (seat switch/deadman switch).
