New to me unit, L1801 Grey

Just towed it to and from and now I no longer have hydraulics. I did over fill the tranny but have since brought it down to the acceptable level.
Please help!

Took the hydraulic filter off and turned the tractor over, oil is pumping.
Took the hose off from the pump and turned it over, oil is pumping.
This tells me the pump is working fine. Will replace filter and oil tomorrow.
Which weight of oil should I use?

bad to worse

Bought hydraulic fluid and filter.
New filter will not screw on.
Fart
Will order part asap.
Can anyone refer to a how to video for pump replacement and fluid change?
Will change engine oil as well.
Same procedure as a car?
Any idea on part number?

Removed and cleaned the hydraulic filter suction screen. Drained all fluid from tranny.
I thought all fluid would be gone from rear axel, I thought wrong.
Question are:
What is the proper fluid for the rear dif?
Should the fluid level (rear dif) be level with the top fill bolt?
Please respond asap as I am in mid job.
