I just bought my first kubota b7500 a little older with some about 2500 hours. I'm having a hard time finding the serial number. Ive seen in kubotas websy that it should be on the front axle right side. Nothing there on the bottom is cast B2410.

Couple of questions is there another place to find the serial?

Am I crazy in thinking this axle not original to the b7500?

Maybe ground off and stolen. But, I'm sure someone familiar with the model will chime in.

As far as I know the serial number shows up on two places
1) on the tag that is attached to the tractor transmission
2) stamped into the right side of the transmission housing (about where your right foot is when seated.

I don’t know where they put it on the newer HST models that don’t really have the case for the transmission

Thanks for the quick replies so far. I don't think it was stolen no grinder marks. This is the hat model. I have found these numbers so far but I don't think they are the serial number that I need to buy parts

Looks like your serial number is 66143. It's on the sticker

I can zoom in on the sticker and see the word “serial no.” above the 66143 so Ktrim has it solved.

Thanks, I think I may have been over thinking it. When researching how to read kubota serial numbers some places were saying they start with two letters, but now I think that is in reference to the engine.

I have a set of metal-stamps...if my sticker were that badly-worn ..(looks like it was pressure-washed) ...I’d stamp my tractor serial number into the frame next to that sticker. (Or engrave it with an electro-pencil, etc.).

Mine is also on a sticker. I was assuming (!) it was also stamped somewhere to make a little easier to recover if stolen. Is this the only place to find the serial number?

Serial number on mine is stamped on the right frame rail toward the front near the sticker. It’s nearly full of paint from the factory and not easily seen unless you rub white chalk into it. If you zoom in on the picture you can see a bit of the stamped number which matches the number on the sticker. Not sure if that’s a Kubota thing or unique to specific years/models.
