help,cant find front drive shaft for loader pump

Local dealers say cant get the shaft for my 1200 loader,the pump is bolted inside front bumper,need to find a drive shaft.My L245Dt with 650 backhoe,is not happy unless its working can anyone help. She only has 624 hrs on her

The speed of the loader is the biggest gripe that I have with my L245DT/L1200 setup without the auxil. pump. I would part with. What is the shaft size and # of splines?

I had the same arrangement on my L185DT, purchased about 35 years ago in Redmond, Oregon. I would not want to bet that the adaptor, pump and reservoir were Kubota products. Try measuring the front spline shaft and counting the teeth, measure the pump shaft, measure the length, and head for a good bearing supply house - they have an amazing supply of such things. They may have both adaptors,and you can hire a local welder to put them together in the right length. There is nothing special about the adaptors - it is a standard spline drive, and pump shaft.
The backhoe came in two versions - one with a PTO pump, and another for use with tractor hydraulics. If you happen to have the one without the pump, I have an extra pump and reservoir that I just removed when I adapted the K650 to my new L3200. The L3200 hydraulics are enough to power the backhoe just fine.

Thanks its Frank J,my spline Looks like 7/8 and 18 teeth. And the pump side is a keyway,want to sell it let me know how much and how you want payment

Remember, I have a spare pump and reservoir for the backhoe, not the front end loader. Shipping alone may well be more than the stuff is worth. Since the backhoe runs at 540 rpm and the front end at 2500, the pump itself is not interchangeable. Neither is the shaft. The tank needs to be horizontal. If you are still interested, drop a private message to me. Price is very reasonable.
