Help can’t decide

Ok, I have been back and forth between the b2601 or b2650, I can only offird a b2650 with a manual chute blower and loader or a b2601 with hydraulic chute blower.

So what would you pic, I’m leaning towards the 2601 as it will only be used to blow snow primarily and do some basic landscaping 1acre lot. But it’s first 2 years will be used to clear a large lane

Please help I can’t decide lol

For the limited use you are describing the 2601 will probably be fine.
But consider the future. These machines can do many things.

I don't know all the specs, just quick look at tractordata.site. but if the difference is loader and blower with manual chute vs blower + hyd chute only, I'd buy the manual loader as you get a complete loader. While you say snowblower is the primary job, come spring you'll have LOTS of uses for the loader !
You can modify any manual chute to electric fairly cheaply, IF , required.
I have a BX23S and it's my goto tractor, especially with the SSQA setup. Currently making my own SSQA blower as they are over 8K up here.

I’m of no help as I’m just learning about tractors and will be buying one soon... but I just wanted to say that you’ve made me feel better about looking at the 1880’s for my one acre. I know many people say a tractor is too much for an acre... but I’m sure no one here will!!!

I mow a bit under an acre with a BX2350. It's more than I need, but less than I want. I'm going to upgrade to a B2601.

As I've said before, I started looking at new houses, with more land. The better half didn't want to move, and wanted to know why I wanted to move. I wanted a tractor. We agreed that I could have a tractor and we wouldn't move house. Great decision. We have bush all round us, so it gets work running the chipper, mowing the lawns, moving mulch (from the chipper), pulling the boat, and moving stuff around. I also help the neighbours out a lot, and mow some of the roadside. There's really no such thing as too small a property for a tractor.

A B2601 is plenty for what you describe. They have the same horsepower so if your primary task is snowblowing they'll both do the same job. I'm assuming the B2601 will also come with a loader, if you get a tooth bar or similar the B2601 will do most of the job that the B2650 will do landscaping or clearing. The big differences are weight (and therefore traction), and hydraulic capacity.
So ground engaging tasks (plowing, grading, box blading) and tasks that stress the loader (lifting larger weights) are where I'd expect to see most difference between the two, and I don't see those on your list.

Given that, I see no reason not to get a B2601 with a better blower.

Are you looking at a cab? The B2650 can have a cab, the B2601 not.

Thanks, yes both units will come with a loader. I’m just trying to decide is it better to get a hydraulic chute blower or a bigger better tractor and a manual chute blower

Bigger yes, better only if you have something you need to do that a B2601 won't do. A B2650 would be a lot of tractor on a 1 acre lot. Not that there's anything to be ashamed of with that, but it does seem like more tractor than you'd need.

If your blowing needs a hydraulic chute (if you have obstacles and the like that mean you need to keep adjusting it, or you need the snow to end up in a particular place), then I'd say smaller tractor and better blower makes sense. If your blowing is into open space, so you set the chute then just use it, then a B2650 is a lot of tractor and would look mighty fine in your garage. As others have said, apparently you can retrofit electric adjustment if you're reasonably handy - it'll give you a project to do over winter.

Same hp but big difference in size/feel. I'd suggest go ride around on both. If one feels too small or too big, you'll know right away.

For what it's worth, I very seldom wish I had power chute rotation. I bought an electric one when I bought the tractor, but never put it on.
