That's an awful picture. Did you purchase it from Barlow's? From what I've heard, no one beats their deals.

The B3350SU was picked up this morning.
I'm still waiting on the answer, but this is very disappointing.
I sure hope things work out for you. You have every right to return it and get your money back or trade for something better. Good luck and let us know the out come.

I don't have too much to add other than suggesting you would be really happy with a 3901. I had a B3200 and stepping up to the L was a good move, unless of course I have emission system issues...

I just got a voicemail explaining that it was a faulty fuel sensor.
They have already ordered the part and are assuring me that they’re 99% positive this is the issue.

I haven’t called back yet because I’m still at work. I believe I would be much happier with a different model like everyone is saying.
But now I feel like I might be being to negative about it and need to see how it does after the “fix”.
But then again if it messes up more, it might be too late.

One thing I am sure on is this is something a new Kubota owner should ever have to deal with.

I'm sure you've heard the saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, well I hope your better at poker than I am. Good luck with whatever you decide but make sure to check out your options carefully preferably with a different dealer.

For a just delivered tractor with less than 5 hours on it, and it's back to the dealer...when I went in to pick up the tractor I would have a conversation with the principle owner to let him/her know you are now aware of the ongoing problems with the B3350 tractor.

Ask to have the B3350 replaced with a different model now or document this conversation so if this continues in any fashion I want credit and exchange then. Be assertive and document everything, don't leave one rock unturned.

I hope it turns out good for you.

Ok, I just left the Kubota dealer and I'm very pleased with the outcome.
I know some of you would be a little more aggressive with this situation but I have found it to be much easier and certainly less stressful to just have a civil conversation and work out the issues.

The dealer whom I'm waiting to disclose until the issue is fully resolved has been great the entire time. I couldn't ask for more help or friendliness.
After a discussion on the tractor and what would be best for the both of us, he agreed that he needed to call and see if we could do the trade out for the L3901.

I left and before I could get home (10 mins) he called to tell me that would be completely fine. He has a new L3901HST still in the crate. As soon as its ready I will complete the deal and get my new one.

That is great news. if you thought we were implying you get aggressive that was not my intent, I was just hoping you would look out for yourself and not get stuck with a costly mistake. Good for you I know you will be very happy with the L3901. Don't forget we expect pictures when you get it, both clean and dirty, the tractor that is.

Congratulations.
Glad you won't have to have the worry in the back of your mind every time you were in the drivers seat.

Bbright,

That's awesome. Sounds like you have a very upstanding dealer. Enjoy.

You're gonna like the L3901. I bought mine used (140 hours) and broken (bad ecm).
I fully expected to have to shell out a few grand to get it running right. It took more than 30 days at the dealer - BUT - I got it back with a new ECM and no charge as warranty covered it. Couldn't be happier. It's nimble and powerful. It will push my 6' box blade in reverse and move more material than my 45hp farmtrac.

I need to sell the blue one, but I can say there is one area that it beats the Kubota. Weight. The old school Ford/New Holland style tractor is a beast when you're swinging a 6' rotary mower in tall brush. I don't think my L3901 will be as beefy in that regard.

The new Kubota L3901 is finally here!
After a week of waiting it arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier.
I'm so glad I decided to go away from the 3350. Its a great machine but
the extra weight and HP of the 3901 is really going to come in handy.

Thanks to everyone again who has helped or just gave their opinion.

Congrats. I think you made the right decision.

Now, enjoy.
