hello, I have a problem with my manual kubota L2850 dt, I have had problems with the hydraulic system, I changed the hydraulic oil, with kubota super udt2, and the hydraulic system works 10 minutes, and then a sound starts in the hydraulic pump, and I have been doing some research on the viscosity of the oil and the temperature, I live in miami fl. sometimes it's 100°F. Should I use an oil with a higher viscosity grade? I appreciate any advice or recommendation thanks

The viscosity of Super UDT2 should be correct for summer or winter use. Here summer temperatures are rarely over 115 and there's no issue. Try changing your hydraulic oil filter and see if there's some kind of screen in the system which could impede flow.

Agreed.

Replace hyd. filter and remove and clean the screen strainer (something folks often overlook).

Viscosity of the oil is fine. What sort of sound are you hearing and are you sure it is coming from the pump?

I'm not an expert on the subject of hydraulic oil...but I found this information. with respect to oil viscosity and ambient temperatures.

The suction hoses tend to be a problem as these units get older. They can crack or get too hard to make a seal and allow air in. Part # 040 . Don’t forget new clamps if that’s the issue… part # 050
