Name is Mark,
I've decided that I need a CUT, currently we own a ford Jubilee (our first tractor) without a loader that we use at our cabin to plow snow with a back blade, which only works for small amounts of snow and up here in the North Cascade mountains we can get a lot of snow, but at the time the price was right and the tractor did it's job. We want to do more work around the cabin (5 acres total about 4 are tree's and brush) and at home that the old ford will just not do, so after looking at the green and orange tractors I've decided the B2650 seems like the right machine, the JD 3 series are just a little big and seem like a lot more money than the B series for pretty much what I want. My first thought was to get the B3350 but after reading about the DPF problems just don't want to mess with that problem seeing how the majority of the work the tractor will see is at the cabin 120 miles from the nearest Kubota dealer. So what do I want the tractor to do, It will be used to plow our road in the winter (may get a 3 pt blower to move snow when we get a foot or more over night) we have a 50x50 garden and I plant a food plot for the deer so will be getting a small (48-50") tiller, we also want to clear out all the blow downs and old brush in the wooded area. As for price I built a 2650 on the kubota site with QA loader, 72" blade with Hyd, 3rd function, spill guard, ballast box, tele lower link kit and work light. total of $24,896, i've read here where you can expect anywhere from 10-15% off that price, the 2 quotes I've gotten have taken the 1% or so off price of the tractor but all the added things (loader, blade) are priced at the web page pricing. Can I work on those prices? Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated, Thank you Mark.
(Lot of good info on this site also, glad I found it)
