Does anyone use a heated seat cushion in their tractor for winter?
If so what kind?
How does it work?
Does it tax your charging system?
I see mixed reviews online such as overheating, melting and a short life span.
Thanks in advance for any info!

Had one, 1st winter, lasted about an hour....

I just wear long johns and a vest, for the past 3 winters. Biggest problem with heated seat pads is KEEPING them FIRMLY attached to the seat and back. Ain't enough clips, straps. One tears off, wiggle, then another and another...
The 10A power port is on the left side, both seat warmers I've see, the wiring/controls on the right,.next to all the 'levers'......sigh.
If I got real serious about it, I'd remove the heating unit from a car seat, tear the seat apart, do it right. However, if it gets that cold, I'm staying inside the warm garage !

I don't on my tractor, but I purchased 2 or 3 @ Canadian Tire some years ago for our cars and they were(imo) a waste of good $$. Never lasted more than a few months before wires broke and didn't make a huge difference (wearing street clothes).

I can't imagine I'd even be able to feel it in the winter, outside in the snow, subzero temps with the wind blowing wearing a snowsuit.

Not much help--sorry !
