You forgot to add in the wind chill. When you flap your arms it "feels like" it's cooler than it really is.
We always have had a significant number of people from FL living up here in their 2nd, 3rd, or whatever homes during the summer. Not necessary old (>60y/o). Now more and more people from the SW with seasonal homes. Blame them for yesterday's unusually hot day. Hit 90F at my place by late afternoon when the light wind switched from onshore to offshore and dropped to a light breeze at best . The RH was unusually high for this elevation above the Lake level at sunrise. At least it kept dropping as the temp kept rising. Down to more normal mid 40-50s by the time it was an oven. Guessing people from FL though it was wonderful day. I'll take a windless 0F day over a windless 90F.I’m beginning to understand why rich old retired people live in their northern home in the summer and their southern home in the winter. I’m retired. If I’m not old, I’m well on my way. The third qualification… I’m probably not going anywhere.
