Mid 80's B8200 HST, 600hrs. Owned tractor for 5yrs without any problems. Few days ago I turned the key counter clock to warm glow plug but no current seemed to flow to the coil on the dash. Turning clock wise did not cause the starter to turn either. When I repeated this sequence the coil did glow and starter and engine started fine.

The next day this happend again, nearly identical to the day before. The following day I couldn't get the coil to glow nor the engine to start and have not been successful since.

Looking for help. Thanks ahead.

Sounds like you have a bad connection on either the Positive or the Negative cables either at the battery or on the other end.

Your ground is as if not more important than your hot cables, check all grounds.

By your description you could have a failing battery also.
