If that is you, why did you build a stump grinder? Why not just rip the stumps out by the roots? Then you could carry one stump under each arm to the brush pile.

I have a chain fall hanging in my barn, very handy.
To prevent chain from snagging, a bucket or canvas bag hanging works very well. My buddy picked a planer off his truck with hay forks and a couple mis-matced steel pipes. Near destroyed it when it slipped off. All he had to do was wait a minute for me to grab my tow strap to secure it.
Forks are versatile,good for many uses. Best to plan your lift in a way its safe. Even a couple inexpensive lifting slings and an assortment of shackles will cover most lifts.
