Has anybody used one of these stump grinders?

I'm considering getting a Bauma Light stump grinder as I just ordered one of their TX12 PTO generators.
I have the TX12 generator. Bought it in 2013. Don’t use it much, but it is a great generator for back up power.

Good to hear thanks. I just got tired of maintaining the gas and another engine in my stand alone generator. At least my tractors are always running and I have a few with PTO's. I ordered it with the 3 point carrier cradle instead of trailer. That way I can just leave it on the B when it's parked.

I was contemplating which one to get myself. Ended up buying this one from Farmry. I agree as other have said they all seem to be from same manufacturer in China. I went with this even though it was $100 more than the Maxx one based on poor customer service reviews. Farmry has a few warehouses in US and customer service based here as well.

I’ve grinded out three big stumps so far and one small one. I did break my adjustable turnbuckle on the 3pt on my first attempt but found out that was user error went too aggressive too fast. Now that I’ve used it a few times I got the hang of it and it’s great really gets the job done with ease once you get the hang of it.

I'm curious as to how that happened (assuming it was the top link)? Did you forget to remove the swing pin on the grinder?

I dropped the grinder too low too fast and the momentum of the grinding wheel hitting the stump jerked the whole implement over to the left side. The adjustable turnbuckle for the lower arm broke. I replaced them with the telescoping arms and works great now

oh. got it.

Agreed, the turnbuckle style on Bx's are junk. I bent many of them with my old machine.
