It's a bummer here in AZ, for us at least. We are not like many around here: Snowbirds. We are here all year.
I love having these dark mornings to sit with my coffee and see what my Orange family is up to. In summer, we are out the door at 0430 to get home from walking the monsters by sunrise. That way the street is cool on their feet.
In winter, we get up and eat and then take a couple hours to drink more liquid sleep and read e-mails. Dog walking is definitely after sunrise. In summer, I get back from the dog walk and barely have time to grab a bite before getting out for whatever work task I have to get to. I wrap up around 1030 and then, a couple week days, take the wife to lunch. After lunch, its pretty much stuff indoors for us. You know, like most of you this time of year!
Nice thing is, in summer, with half the people gone, its nice and quiet here.
