Thanks! Good eye on the Warn winch! In that picture I was actually winching out a fellow four wheeling buddy whom had gotten stuck.

I had a friend that was starting up a auto body business. He painted the truck the original dark green(not sure what Ford called it) and did a bit of tasteful pin stripping. After a bit I decided I wanted to try changing the color up to a Ford two tone. In the two tone paint livery you can see the Warn winch and bumper. I added the extra bars, driving lights and driving light guards.

Also included is a picture my dad took the day I drove it home. He was very conservative with his money and practicalities and thought I had lost my mind buying this truck.

Ah, no real favorites but I'd have to say it's my currently owned 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. Destroyer Grey. Btwn my wife and I we blow through back tires every couple years.

0 to 60 in 4.2. Top speed 182 mph.... so the spec says but I've never taken it over 150 mph or timed my 0 to 60.

It's a Hoot!

It won't keep up to the electric cars in 0 to 60. But it sounds like thunder and history. Not like a wind up toy. And top speed is way above most.

So many beautiful cars, I cann,t pick a favorite. 1968 Barracuda Formula S fastback, 1968 Mustang fastback390 GT 4 speed in bullitt green, 1970 Grand Prix with the 454 or 455, cann,t remember. I now own a 1990 Monster Miata with a 347 c.i. 425 HP stroker motor, 5 speed T5Z transmission and the T-bird IRS. 2600 pound car. a 1990 Corvette convertible with 22K on it, and a 2019 Mustang GT with 460 HP. If I ever win a lottery, I will be building a monster garage, and get one of each of my old favorites. The old

I am wondering if you mistyped the 5 BBL carburetor instead meaning a 4 bbl carburetor. I have never heard of a 5 bbl. That does not mean one does not exist, it just means I want to know the make and model of the 5 bbl carburetor.

My favorite car was a 1997 Mustang Cobra that I converted to a IRS suspension. My next favorite is my present driver, a 2022 F350 4x4 crew cab.

I had a new '98 Mustang Cobra SVT for about a year. I think it was the first year that it had the factory IRS. Ford had an explosion/fire at one of their factories and it affected the vehicles being produced. The paint was terrible with large defects, and the power was nowhere near advertised so I made Ford take it back and give me an F150 to replace it.

I remember Ford having to change the intake or something to get to the 320hp/317lb-ft but I was long gone by that point.

'69 XKE roadster. Drove it all through college then sold it to my Brother in Law and purchased something more practical.

It ran well as long as you kept the carburetors synchronized. Mine had dual Strombergs (sidedraft), yours probably had the three SU sidedraft carbs.

Yep, had three and I still have the gizzmo to adjust them seting on a shelf in a box!

Not a picture of mine so add a bunch of rust, a light bar, and a bunch of empties on the floor. manual hubs and a 3 speed, Firestone retreads, 8 track on the floor and a CB bolted under the dash.
A crappy car but, my wife to be and I had a blast and fell in love in this little beast. It is mentioned in our highschool year book at least three times. Either a keg in the back or call Mike and get his tow chains.
I have had better cars and far more expensive vehicles but the memories from this will last a lifetime.

My favorite was a 2004 STi that I bought when I got my first real job after getting my degree when I was 20. It got me into lots of trouble but I put LOTS of miles on it. I decided to get rid of it when it got rod knock at around 280,000km.
We just finished building our house and had lots of things to do and expenses to take care of so I couldn't be bothered to fix it at the time. I kicked myself for years for getting rid of it.

Here it is at the end of the Ingraham trail North of Yellowknife.

Fast forward 7 or 8 years and it has been replaced with this 2006 model which has about the same miles on it as when I first got the '04 (107,000km). It hasn't quite earned the same love for it yet but maybe some day.

Mike - at college I used to keep a log chain in my Jeep in the winter. Would cruise the student parking lots Friday afternoons before heading home to work.

Kids would leave their vehicles for weeks in the snow. I would pull up and offer to yank them out of their spot for $10. No shoveling required.

Sometimes I had $50-60 in my pocket before I left campus….

'67 Camaro SS/RS. Emerald Turquoise, Magnum 500's, Weiand hi-riser with a Holley 780, 375 fuely cam, Jahn's pistons, Muncy 4-speed. REALLY WISH I could have afforded to keep and store it instead of using it for a trade on a new El Camino in 1970. Sniff, sniff.

That was before digital pics. Side note - I think it was for Christmas in '69 that my girlfriend (and current wife) had a matching spoiler installed on it.

This was my 71 Torino GT that I did a full restoration on. Same as my first one back in the day. Sold it last year and used the cash to purchase my new tractor.

I was broke as a teenager, so all I had was junk, super-crappy cars. It wasn't until I was in my late 30s that I could afford a decent vehicle.
