It could be like Harbor Freight where they continue to say the item is on sale yet never have I seen the item at full price. The finance offers are still there for a majority of the tractors. 0% for 4-7 years. Rebates for implements went down for the BX by $1000 but I did not understand how that rebate worked anyways. I still get $500 off implements on the BX.

Where one might be upset is how MSRP changes from lot to lot. The first lot I went to failed me and when I went 60 miles to the East MSRP went up $1000. Difference being the East lot has 3 tractors available. I need the tractor as I am getting older and cannot work without it. I would pay another $1000 on top of it if I had to and still save over a JD.

All in all you get what you pay for. It is worth what you feel it is worth. I am willing to pay more and yes I would rather take a cruise with the extra $2000 but I need the tractor and want a cruise. No one is wrong here just how we all see the half full cup. I am glad I can refill the cup anytime I want.

I'm one of thoses 'dense' people that was very happy with my 0% for 60 months. I think I have 14 more payments left. No regrets here. Kubota steps up and makes it affordable for a poor bastard like myself to live the American dream and own the best tractor made .

I'm one of thoses 'dense' people that was very happy with my 0% for 60 months. .
YOU took the words out of my mouth, even before I finished reading your entire post.:D:)

Let's see if this makes sense......

I could have paid cash and saved $500 if I borrowed the money and paid cash,

I have outstanding credit - HOWEVER, going to the bank and borrowing money for a tractor that has no legit reason......let's see, I could have got a loan for maybe 6-7 %......

I could have tied up my equity line for a little while at 2-3%.....mmmmmmm

IF I had used my equity line - I would have ended up PAYING $1,500 over the 5 years in INTEREST ALONE ........

OR I could pay absolutly NOTHING down, and pay the exact same every month for zero %, mmmmmm........AND NOT BE IN A HURRY to pay if off...

IF I HAD 20K in mason jars stored in a secret wall.............I STILL WOULD NOT have used it to pay for the tractor!

Some of you can argue all you want that you would have paid cash down and blah blah blah, for those people, you have too much money and need to buy something to find another tax write off.......OR - you are a farmer that need a machine to make their life better and more efficient.

FOR me - did I need this machine? o hell no, it really has not made me any money worth talking about.........BUT I HAVE done things I could not dream of WITHOUT it.........AND having it make me all warm and fuzzy inside:eek::)

"No regrets here. Kubota steps up and makes it affordable for a poor bastard like myself to live the American dream and own the best tractor made"

NOW the OP has a point, if'n I was gonna get money back and 0% that beats the hell out of no money and 0%...

BUT the point being - I often think WHAT I could have done 10 years ago with a machine like this when I could run around like the younguns.

MY BX is one of the few things that I have bought and paid a lot for - that really makes me smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is another example of deals. We were going get two MX tractors.
I got prices from three dealers and settled on the lowest.
Before I made the deal with them I got a Loyalty Cash coupon in the mail. $2000...
So I go in and told them I will buy the 2 right now if you apply this coupon to the both of them. He made a call and it was done.

Timing is everything!

Someone said they did not really NEED the tractor, but wanted it. That's where I am. That's why I was so disappointed in the reduced rebates and either/or 0 financing or rebate.

To top it off, on Tuesday the m7060 had a $2000 rebate, reduced from $2500 in 2016....yesterday when I went to the website that rebate was reduced AGAIN.....this time down to $1000. So--to recap the changes from year-end 2016 to now (January 6) rebates and incentives have dropped from 0% for 84 months PLUS a $2500 cash rebate to choosing between $1000 cash rebate OR 0% 84 month financing.

That's a lot of money Kubota took off the table in 6 days time.

So, I will play the waiting game and hope they restore incentives to 4th quarter 2016 levels soon. My dealer quoted me $32,000 on an M7060 4x4 with 8 speed, loader and cast wheels after some help from his factory rep. Hope we can put that deal together again sooner than later.

For me wither its buying a truck, tractor or Russian woman to keep the woodstove burning . NO rebate or any rebate will get me to buy or not to buy.
If I want it , can afford it, then $1000. bucks or $2500. bucks in rebates are not going to persuade me to buy or not. But that's me. I can't believe Kubota launches a $2000. rebate program and thousands of 'fence sitters' suddenly jump and run to the nearest dealer. I just don't believe it. I think buying a tractor is something folks take seriously and get what they want after contemplating needs and options. I wanted/needed my tractor for business-loading freight and unloading freight- and 5 acres of land to maintain. I wanted it, I needed it, I could afford it, I bought it.
The same sanario with my pickup truck. I told the salesman, "I want this tiny payment for 48 mo., call me when you can do it". Six weeks later he called, I signed, rebates or no rebates or college or military or girl scout rebates . They have plies of rebates they can dream up. As long as I can afford it. Rebate or not.(rant over..lol)

Have you talked to your dealer directly? There are in fact unpublished bonuses right now, at least in my area. You should call the dealer and make sure you have all of the info.

^^^ What he said! ^^^ I'm sure there are overstocks of certain models in particular areas so they would have regional incentives. Some people enjoy the negotiations process some do not (salesperson's dream)...;)
Most companies and governments require at least three bids.
Competition is good.

When I purchased my tractor/package deal, there were not much advertised incentives. I called 5 dealers within a 4 hour drive distance, following it up with an email to the sales manager. The manager usually came back with a better price. Even with that, there was almost a $2500 difference between dealers that were only an hour or two apart.

EXACTLY! When we order trucks I do the same thing. Last one in 15 got 4 prices. 1700 difference for the same exact truck. Went back to the dealer that is closest and service with (they were in the middle of the pack) and asked to match it and I will sign right now, and they did. Truck dealers never mention you can order the truck. They always want to sell what they have or do a dealer trade. Get exactly what you want, order it. Last truck took 5 weeks. I've had them in less than 4 weeks.

The last few tractors have been bought from smaller dealers. They seem more motivated. Larger outfits give a price and have a take or leave it attitude.
I don't care where it's bought. It's not personal, just business.
You can take it to ANY dealer for warranty.

I'm one of those fence sitters. Usually I'll buy a major purchase at the end of the year. The new model years are on the lots and dealers are motivated to get rid of last year's model. Started watching prices on zero turn mowers. Been wanting one for a couple of years, and was ready to pull the trigger. Got my mower for a thousand dollars less with tax and insurance compared to what it would have cost a few months back in peak mowing season.

Did the same with my truck, wife's camper, and car. I'll figure out what I want, then watch and wait :D

Interest rates are going up and you expected better deals in 2017? I've got a bridge for sale....

I like Orange, but the KTAC insurance on top pushes the dollar amount over my hard-line budget. Deere required Ins is $300, not $10 for every $1000. If I got an L2501, maybe $500 less than MSRP, add a Curtis Cab and the $5800 of the cab cost gets tacked on the KTAC insurance. Massey Ins was cheap, but Dealers arent very friendly or all that close.

Im resuming my used market search. Interest rates will suck, I can get a Grand L within budget without $2000 in useless to me insurance.

I hate insurance too. Really hate wasting my money on it. But I do have the Kubota insurance for the life of the loan. BUT I had like 10 hrs on the new tractor and we had a rain storm coming so I wanted to use the FEL to dug the debris out of the ditch along my 500' driveway (which has a steep grade) , I took off my pallet forks and put on my bucket , snapped down the levers and headed up the driveway. I made like three digs and realized the bucket was tilted some. The lock down pin/handle had allowed one side of the bucket to come unlocked, it had in a second, twisted the headgear of the FEL. Took it to a local dealer (that I didn't buy the tractor from) , he replaced it, issued the warranty work through Kubota insurance, I think the bill was $440. maybe. I don't remember my deductible , $50. buck or $200. , I'd have to look.
You can get coverage through your home owners insurance but mine was more then the Kubota insurance was.
And I sleep with a insurance agent who makes big $$$ for doing very little(god help me if she reads this)....and yes everything but the cat is insured at my place.

When I was younger, I had cheapest auto insurance known to man. It bit me right in my backside.

People keep glorifying the KTAC ins, anything that Im concerned about breaking is covered by the warranty anyway. My homeowners wont cover the requirements set forth by Bota.

My homeowners and auto cover the loss of the machine if it is stolen, burns up in fire on property or falls of the trailer. Deere "Sentry" insurance is $300 and basically protects the loan.

My buddy wanted to continue his KTAC long after loan was satisfied, just in case something happened he wouldn't have to use homeowners. Thats alot of money to backstop homeowners. For me, it doesn't make sense. ~60 hrs a year, never leaves land and I dont make money with it.

First off I will make everyone aware that I have worked for a Kubota dealer for 23 years. I have worked as technician, parts and sales.

My statements below are fact! And you can choose your insurance company.

This is to address your comment on breaking something. First off any warranty will not cover breakage, it will cover defects in materials and workmanship!

The only requirements for using your homeowners insurance from Kubota are as followed: Show the models and serial numbers of all units purchased on the binder.

List the policy number and deductible on the binder.

There are some insurance companies that refuse to issue a binder?

FYI Kubota insurance is not being glorified. It's fact that they have covered some really stupid stuff without question.

And the only thing that is not covered by Kubota insurance is acts of war.
What is covered: theft, fire, vandalism, wind, tornado, flood, earthquake, hurricane, tsunami. Plus pickup and delivery $250.00 deductible

I have access to any color, size of implement at my finger tips whenever I needed one! Last one that came home with me was an L2501/LA524 with a set forks.

Easy job to act as a platform to remove some aluminum awnings that were directly over landscape and shrubs. And to re-install after the new windows were put in.

All colors build damn reliable tractors. If I had to put a wallet on the hood knowing each of the companies that we vend for #1 Orange #2 Red and very distant #3 Blue
