My battery is original from 2012. It still cranks fine, but I'm looking to upgrade it before it fails. On my Jeeps, Truck - I've always run AGM batteries like Optima

I have no idea where to find an AGM type battery for my BX. I know most would say just measure the old battery and get one that fits.

I'm looking for feedback from other BX sub compact owners that originally had the factory
Kubota 77700-00426 Group 26R battery that have upgraded to an AGM type battery

I think you are going to have a hard time finding an agm battery in that specific size, kind and of an oddball size. I get the advantage of the agm battery but hell if you got 7 years out of the original flooded cell then why not stick with that?

You have a point! The previous owner only put on 200 hours from 2012- 2018, so it didn't get much use.

Talk about little use, I got my tractor thrown in when I bought the house. 2014 tractor with 12 hrs when I got it in 2017. Still original battery;)

Pick up a batteryMINDer for $40 or so, and see how many more years you can stretch that OE battery out to. Install the ring terminal pigtail on the battery and get an SAE plug and install it somewhere on your machine for easy and quick connecting of the batteryMINDer to the battery.

Like this...

And this.....

Just cut the alligator clips off and install ring terminals for a permanent mount to the battery.

Thanks for the suggestion for the batteryMINDer!

I have a NOCO Genius 3.5 Amp UltraSafe Battery Charger and Maintainer that I use for my Jeep - now I need to source a second set of ring terminals and plug so I can use it on my BX!

Happy to give a fellow Jeeper an idea.

That looks like one nice battery maintainer. Seems like it does it ALL, except wash the dishes.

I put a Optima blue top in my M9000. I went with the blue because it had acc post which made it easier for me to hook up my monitor for my baler. I have no complaints or issues with this battery and would go back with the same.

Just measure the size you have and find one that matches.
