Curious about how often and how much grease y'all are putting in the fitting in the center of the tractor, which I guess is related to the clutch.

I always have gone a little light on this because I'm not sure where the excess grease may get to if I were to over-grease it.

For me, I grease every tank of fuel, but only a pump or two in that fitting. Am I okay with that or should I do more?

HSE model.

NO! Not every tank of fuel.

Zerk lubes throwout bearing. I give the one on my B1750 about one shot each year.

Mine is a HST. Maybe every 6 months if gear type transmission.

Your Owner's Manual will provide recommendations.

More technically it lubricate the space between the bearing carrier and the shaft it slides on, not the bearing itself.

But the answer is the same, a pump or two every 12-18 months is what I recall as the interval. It is near the clutch friction plate which should NOT get grease on it.

Thanks to both of you.
I will back off my frequency.
Unless I get a big job to do for someone else, some years I only burn about 2 tanks anyway.
