Hey all,

It seems the the general consensus (if there even is any) is Moly grease for loader, and Polyurea for the rest of the tractor and implements.
Howevever, Polyurea grease seems to be out of stock everywhere. What are folks using instead??

Edit: I made this post after reading all the other grease threads. I tried to order Amsoil synthetic, but most types are out of stock, and the one they have in stock you are limited to only 1 tube due to supply issues.

Any grease is better than no grease. I use Lucas Red N Tacky for everything and don't get caught up in all the complexities of this grease or that grease. Makes life simpler.

Makes sense. I’ve been using Red N Tacky as my default grease for years anyways. Great stuff and will do.

I didn’t know that. I just went to order it on the Advance Auto website. After adding it to my cart, it said it was out of stock. Then I went to AutoZone, and it’s not available for shipping. I will continue searching!

Try buying the 3 pack then; it is 2 Xtra Heavy Duty and 1 regular Red And Tacky.

Sorry, it appeared to be in stock to order.

When i bought my tractor in fall 2017 I bought a 10-pack of Lucas X-Tra HD grease tubes online. Can't find a box now, but the 3-pack mentioned is a good buy. https://www.amazon.ca/Lucas-Oil-10315-Grease-Combo/dp/B00N0KZ2FK

Lucas heavy duty (green) is great grease. I use it for everything and buy it at Walmart for $6-7/tube.

Thanks all. I couldn’t find it anywhere around me. I got it on eBay for about $8/tube. Seems like it’s really hard to find Polyurea grease right now.

3% moly on everything. The only issue is if the moly content is 5% or higher, don't use it on rolling element bearings. Life couldn't be simpler.

I think mcfarmall is onto something. When I went to my Kubota dealer this morning, they said "we've only used this one grease for years". It was 3% moly. That's the only grease they use.

Anyway, thanks for all the input. I've now got 3 different types of grease in my garage.
  • 3% moly
  • lucas xtra heavy duty polyurea
  • lucas red n tacky 2
I've also got some red n tacky spray grease for implement pto shafts. It's hard taking those pto shields off!

Thanks again!

Of course!
As I am sure you have noticed,......grease paranoia seems to run wild here on TBN.
I wonder what type/brand of grease they are using on loaders in Bangladesh this week?
