So far for my two tractors and zero turn I've been pleased with two manual pistol grip grease guns with after market 24" flex hoses. One with standard tip and one with the grab ahold tip thing. Last one is too long to use on my ZTR but wonderful for my L2050DT.

My grease gun is hand pump and was manufactured before the Second World War in Switzerland which makes it something of an oddity.

I inherited it from my father.

The gun works perfectly. I wish I could say the same for Zerks.

I've got this one: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2646-22ct for the shop at home. I do a lot of greasing and this gun makes it almost fun.
I use a manual grease gun but have a couple Milwaukee drills that have the same battery. So I thought about getting one of their units at some point. A fella I know who is a heavy equipment operator loves the battery powered units. Ill probably wait until I see one on sale or find someone with one for sale used. Its not a necessity at the moment, ill just keep getting a forearm workout for now.

If you have 18v batteries Northern Tool have gun only for $179. That sounds like a good price to me. I've had my Lincoln for years, it's very handy.

My dad burned through two 12v lincolns, though he was using them daily to service machines.

You can get the Dewalt unit for $169 (bare tool) assuming you have their 20v max tools. I've used Lincoln, Amptron, and Harbor freight and I can assure you if you try the Dewalt you will see the difference in quality. Variable trigger, 10,000psi, built in LED light, shoulder strap....it just FEELS better than the HF or others...

We had really good service out of the 12v Lincolns at the quarry. Our guys would pump about 10 or 12 tubes thru each gun every other day and they lasted well. I don't recall having to replace due to wear but we did have to replace 1 or 2 from being dropped. From some reason if you drop one 60' from a screen tower it doesn't make it well after it hits the ground.
