Thank you Rusty for affording benefit of doubt. I am/was at lose as how I should respond to Russell without appearing to feed confrontation. I should have asked skeets how he wanted to proceed instead of concluding his goals. The farthest thing from my intent was causing Russell discomfort. You are correct in me being deficient in writing skills but if I decide to insult someone I can do it without leaving doubt. Going forward I hope sharing lessons leaned turning wrenches overshadows some of my faults. Cheers,I'm good and hope everyone else are as well.

And THIS youtoober proves that grease gets into the bearings EVEN WITH the bearing-seals intact.

I spect that feller has messed with more bearings and spindles than I have but my luck has always been poor on those I've dis-assembled, make that "attempted to dis-assemble". I've never had occasion to do anything with spindles until they were used and one or more bolts snapped off every time as I took it out of deck. Time required to remove broken bolt makes replacing entire assembly the better option. I would caution against removing and reseating bearings designed for radial load by applying force on race that isn't pressed in ,center race in this case. Hopefully yours work like the video but if not at least you'll know you aren't the only one who botched it.
