Hi guys. Bit of advice needed. So I have a mower pulled by my b7000. It's a 2 belt driven mower. Been fine but yesterday belt kept slipping off, tried lots of things but eventually slipped and broke. So I took it all apart to see if anything wrong. Gearbox and that pully fine. Two lateral blades and pullys fine. Middle double pully- so I'm not sure if this is fine. Video below. Is it meant to move the much? The bolt in the middle Is directly attached to the blade and spins with rotating the bolt but when I spin the pully the blade doesn't spin, however when the belt spins on the pulley the blade does spin. If this isn't meant to move that much what's wrong- bearings gone? Seems when I spin it to be a lot of metal to metal contact. If it is this any idea how I remove the pulley? Second video is the bit underneath with the blade removed, this isn't going through the hole due to the small lade keep block so any ideas?? Thanks

Looks like you have a bearing missing!! None of the shafts should have any play in them when you try to move them side to side.

The sheave and the shaft are shot on the first video, second video, it's missing some parts!

Hi, thanks for that, I thought it was making a bit of a grinding noise.. So I'm having real trouble finding out what the mower is never mind parts for it. It says HAYTER on it and it's meant to be a topper (uk) and maybe says COMPACT 120 on it but this is a bit faded. I can't find any info at all on the web about it, HAYTER seem to make other mowers but I can't find any information for a pto driven topper.

I have a number on top of the pulley - 13-1309

I'm guessing things like this are model specific and I can't bodge something else in from another make/model?

Can I ask how to get the pulley off - in the second video of the underside of the mower the bit that turns has a small block on it and is welded to the main shaft - should I just cut this off and grind it down then I presume it will just slide out?

Thanks in advance

Hayter have come up trumps and sent me an instruction booklet with exploded diagrams, hopefully they stock the necessary parts. Thanks for your help

Good luck, that taper lock pulley doesn't seem to have much shaft to lock on to!
