Hi all, new to the forum.
My father in law has a M7060 tractor and SVL95-2s track steer. We recently attempted to mount the grapple from the tractor onto the track steer. It attached flawlessly, but the flat-face track steer hydraulic connections aren’t compatible with the Ag/Pioneer style quick connect fittings of the grapple. We know there are adapters to make it work, but we’re not sure if it’ll affect the hydraulic system or operating pressure of the track steer. Has anyone successfully used these adapters without issues?
Thanks!!

I bet you could get 2 sets of flat face for the tractor and grapple cheaper. Do you have other front implements for the tractor that use the pioneer couplers?

Didn’t think about that! However, the grapple is the only implement we’d like to use on both the tractor and track steer. We have 2 buckets, one for the tractor and one for the track steer, both with the appropriate fittings.

Either way you go about it, you’ll be buying 4 couplers. Making an adapter (2 pioneer and 2 flat) or changing tractor/grapple to flats.

If you like swapping buckets around, I’d change everything to flat face, so either machine can use them.

I agree with changing tractor front hydraulics to flat face, I generally find you get a better seal and less leaks with flat face couplers. I’m in the process of changing 2 tractor front hydraulics to flat face, I also have a track loader and share attachments with my SVL 75.

On a Grapple you will not have any function problems using an adapter. If it was a high flow attachment you might see a problem. This is what I use to swap grapple over to skid steer.
