Consensus boyes n goyles, which one, what size... I have front hydraulics... who has the best etc... there's a particular manufacturer I won't name who had a problem with one of our members last year that I'd prefer not to deal with unless that was all resolved... (DaveKnowsHow... who do you recommend for a grapple). :)

I agree with your exclusion. Dave was treated very bad I am very reluctant to buy from “them” as well. It seems that most others look at Land Pride if you are going with a root rake grapple. That is what I chose as did a close friend who has my same tractor. Works great. Not sure which model goes with your tractor. Yours is much bigger than mine. Looking at Land Prides site there is the SGC10xx series and the SGC 15xx series. The former comes in 60 & 72 in and the latter in 60, 72, and 84 in sizes.

My advice is the check out the grapples in person. If you see hairpins anywhere, lack of pin bosses and grease-able fittings, walk away. I'd also recommend a grapple made from AR400 which will be lightweight and strong.

I have a root rake grapple and wish I bought the L-shaped grapple instead, better for carrying brush and logs.

I just got an Everything Attachments Wicked 55 Root Rake Grapple for my B26. I did a lot of reading before choosing. They manufacture them in one of the Carolina's so they are all made in the USA. They put them through their paces on their YouTube channel. They make bigger grapples for bigger tractors too.

I actually joined the forum to try to figure out what size threads are on my front hydraulics. The lines are just capped now.

I have the Landpride SGC 1572 I use on my L47 and M5-091. It’s heavy and way over built but I didn’t want something that I’d break with the M5. It‘s the perfect size and build quality for your M62.

Thanks guys... sorry I did not reply earlier, never saw any notifications that I had replies (my fault, I had not clicked "Watch".... Land Pride it is.. have other stuff from them including the box blade and the way that Dave was treated will NEVER be rewarded by me AND I HOPE THEY READ THIS AND LEARN FROM IT. It's the same policy I followed when I bought my 84' skeleton bucket... treat customers like rubbish, they go elsewhere... and the best part, they take their friends with them.. thank you all for the input.

Mod can you please lock this thread, based on the great input here I've decided and there is no longer a need for input, thank you.

I have the SGC1572. Perfect fit for our machines . I prefer this claw style but I do a lot of moving logs/brush around.

The only downside is the weight...it is pretty heavy but I always have ballast on the machine (chipper, BH, rear blade) so it isn't an issue. Let me know if you have more questions about it.
