The MX can use either/or. It’s Cat 1/2. Solely cat 1 implements can be used with the MX (with the $5 bushings).
Yes, I think everyone understands that the MX has a cat 1-2 3pt hitch. I know that I do, I build top & tilt sets for them on a regular basis.
The L 4760 has a cat 1 3pt hitch. If you want to use the tractor as it is built and intended to be used, you are limited to cat 1 implements only.

For a recap
The MX has the capability to properly use cat 1 and cat 2 implements.
The L 4760 is intended to use cat 1 implements only.

Hopefully, we have covered this so that there are no misunderstandings down the road. :)

Well yesterday i got down to the nitty griddy on the used L4760,its not going to happen. There wasnt even a counter off from the owner, felt my offer was legit but evidently he didnt,so it will probably be a MX6000.
The leaning towards the L4760 was also because i have access to a new front flail mower which would have worked with the snowblower hitch on that tractor.

As I mentioned before, I am biased. That being said the MX is most certainly not a consolation prize. It’s a different machine, they both have their place, but from a value for dollar at the upper end of a compact, I think it’s arguably hard to beat the value (dollar vs capability for your tasks).
