One of the early things I'll be searching in the forum for is using the front boom and some chains to move & place the heavy tiller for the JD 318 when I sell it. I think the tractor will come with a ballast bucket, and if not I'll have to get one. I think the 30" hydraulic tiller with 12" extension weighs about 400 lbs.

There are several threads on disconnecting and connecting hydraulic lines. Most of us had to learn the hard way the first time we removed or installed snowblowers, fels, or other attachments. I have included two threads you might want to read. The important part is with the tractor off, cycle the control lever through all positions before disconnecting the hoses. This relieves pressure in the hydraulic lines and makes reconnecting easier.

Good Luck with your new tractor. The front end loader is one attachment that seems to attract new jobs that you never considered before having one. It sounds like that has already started and you don't have the tractor until tomorrow.

Good reminder about the residual hydraulic pressure on both the tractor and implements. My 318 has 2 hydraulic channels (both used for the blade, only one for the blower) and even after 15 years I never labeled them (they didn't color-code things back in the '80.) I've become very familiar with the tractor off - jiggle controls - swap lines routine over the years.

It sounds like your a gear head soo tells us, about those nasty 4 wheeled thigns taking up space in your garage, you wouldn't happen to have a 64 Belvedere 2 door hard top with a 426 max wedge laying around looking for a home ?
Alas, no Mopar here. The last Mopar product I had was a well-used '02 Dakota that was a member of the repair-of-the-month club. In the year I owned it, it spent more time at my mechanic son-in-law's garage than mine. Anyway, I'm currently all Honda:

'14 Accord (my daily driver).
I recently sold a very low mileage '05 S2000 (7600 miles) which I could no longer easily fold myself into anymore.
As promised, it all fits - even without having to trade my wife's Honda Fit for a Smart car. She's most always working when I want to mow, so access isn't a problem.
I have a BX1800 that the International Harvester dealer recommended to me in 2001 because of the hills and terrain. Never heard of kubota. Still going stong. I have four other because of its performance.
