I am rebuilding the transmission on a GR2110. The levers on both sides where the cables connect and disengage one of the rear wheels when turning the front wheels are not moving more than 1/8”. I pulled the steering clutches out of the transmission on both sides and have found the springs have a lot of force and keep the clutch packs fully engaged. I am unable to compress the steering clutch by hand to release the clutch packs. The only way I can compress the spring is with a vise. It appears the springs have too much tension. Has anyone heard of or experienced this issue?
I have ordered new springs from Kubota, but it is odd that both sides exhibit the same issue.
Thanks!
