I have a GR2110. I had to lift up the panel 2 inches to get access to replace a hydraulic steering hose. Once completed, the motor will not start. I suspect that I messed up something electrical. When turning the key, I can hear the rule pump, but when starting the starter solenoid clicks once, but does not turn. All electrical activity ceases, and after a minute of "reset" time, I can repeat the above but with no starter motor activity. All 4 consumable fuses are OK, including the 40a "safety fuse". Any ideas on where to start on finding the problem?

Thanks

#1 would be the starter solenoid wire, I bet the click you are hearing would be the fuel shut off solenoid or a relay clicking.

Have you checked your battery and battery connections? I have a GR2100 and have had three different problems that prevented starting.

1. Dead battery (did start with a charger attached) replaced battery
2. Cracked battery post ground clamp. (did start with a charger attached) replaced cable terminal
3. Bad starter solenoid (usually started with a charger attached; helped by a few taps of the hammer on the solenoid while key in start position.) replaced solenoid ($25 for denso part on amazon.)
