Staring Issue Fixed (Electrical). Thanks to Forum. Now will not Shut Off. All fuses check good.
The stop Solenoid is not getting 12 v. when you cycle key to stop Position. Checked Black wire w'/yellow tracer .
No 12V. at Solenoid with key in the Stop position. Held for 10 seconds.
Tested Timer Relay Black w/yellow tracer No Power held on for 10 seconds after cycle key to Off.
Engine wouldn't shut down until Manually closed Solenoid. tHANKS

On my G2460 and G2160 there is a 5A (??) fuse in that circuit. Located in the harness.

I put what looks like a choke knob on mine. When I want to turn the machine off, I simply turn off the key, pull the knob. EZPZ

Likely the 15A stop timer relay fuse. Maybe the wire is broken or the contactsarecorroded. Or, you may have a shorted wire somewhere that is causing the fuse to blow. (At least I did when I had the same issue.)

On my G2460 and G2160 that OPC fuse will cause the same problem.

Well I did notice the P.O. had installed a 20 amp in place of the 15 amp and a 5amp in place of the
of the 3 amp. everything was working Fine until a (elect) No start occurred. I replaced the Positive
and negative battery cables & that was cured. But now stop solenoid is inoperable.

Back in the day diesels had stop buttons, levers or knobs. I remember first time I was introduced to diesel car. Dad's neighbor had this strange looking, smelling and sounding car. A Mercedes diesel. Had a red wire in the dash that would glow when he needed to start it, to shut it off he had to pull a knob out. Big deal. I know the electric lift pump will continue to run, but it's a routine. Have not had any problem. My stop solenoid activation still works, just don't feel like it's worth the $$$$ to install one.

My B7200 has a cable engine shutoff. No electric fuel pumps but over the last 30 years I have still managed to kill the battery multiple times. Just takes longer than the little G's....

UPDATE, This is Bizarre !! So, frustrated I pulled the wiring harness, every Module, Relay, Timer,
Fuse Block. Checked every Connection I could Find. Using a simple light tester. Probed anything
Electrical. Black and yellow wire that feeds the shut-off Solenoid (no power), then the Engine
Stop Timer (no power), then the Ignition switch. Finally the fuse Box. All the fuses had Higher value
than original. Off to parts store. Installed proper Amp. fuses. Then, the wiring to the fuse box. about 3 inches up the harness was a yellow taped red wire with a round burned terminal outside the loom. Tested but no power. I made a jumper wire to the stop solenoid w/12v it cycled. Checked the Timer Relay. The
black/yellow wire had power. The Kubota Cranked right up and SHUT OFF with the Key. Tried 6-8
Times. Worked like a Charm. Now, You Tell Me !! Proper Fuse Size ?? What was the Extra Red wire
with the round Terminal? A Diode?? Anyways, This Forum "ROCKS" !!! Thanks Again !
