Looks like my best option is 2.5 gallons of the 2,4-db 200 when it comes to price. I'll be testing it first before I do the entire lawn. Even then, I'll mix on the low end of the ratio.
I appreciate the input guys!

Just remember, many crops corn, soybeans, wheat and so on have been genetically engineered to be resistant to certain herbicides so that weed killers can be safely sprayed on them. So if a herbicide is NOT specifically specified to be safe to use on a specific plant, don’t automatically assume that it is just because that plant falls into the same family of plants.

You are absolutely right!
That said, I did a good bit of research on the chemical first. It was a very dark and deep rabbit hole. Lol! I started out with "weed killer for peanut farms" seeing they are in the legume family. That led me to the 2 4 DB. Which led me to a bow hunter forum. They use it quite extensively on clover food plots to eradicate "invasive" weeds. It does not kill grasses, so it is lawn safe. Downside is that it supposedly does not kill crabgrass or other grassy weeds. Some of the hunters add another chemical for the grasses to maintain 100% clover.

The nice thing about clover is that it puts down deep roots which makes it a lot more drought tolerant. The only thing that I find objectionable about clover is the cost of the seed.

24D will kill clover, 24DB will not.
