First thing I did when I inherited pops 1983 Ford 1710 was to get on eBay and found a factory roll bar, s/h was close to 300.00 in 2003. Money well spent. Just glad the Kubota dealer didn't look to hard when I traded it in for my 3901.

I did the same when I had a '39 Ford 9N. I knew a guy who's dead now because he was too lazy to put the ROPS up on his Kubota.

I am a fire chief. About 20 years ago We ran a call on a 16 year old pinned under a tractor. Of course he was dead but the worse thing was his father standing there in shock wishing he had put a rollbar on his old Ford. Sad Sad Sad. If you don't have one get one. And it goes without saying it's no good without a seat belt.
