It's a box on a deck.
Got it. So.....a "Box on a Deck" might be of any size or configuration.

When someone posts a 'Deck Box" that sounds very specific to me and frankly never heard of a 'Deck Box'.

Box on a deck (and pic) makes this issue incredibly simple.

The darn thing has a lid on it right? Take any brand (can) of indoor fogger, press the locking top down, open the lid just enough to toss it in and walk away.

Deal with any on the outside as you wish. This isn't hard.

I'm not the OP. I just got stung today. About 30 min ago. Paper wasp.

We bought some furniture for the home yesterday and I was removing the tarp over our small trailer to hook it up and go pick up the furn.

Little buggers came out in force before I got the tarp off. Didn't know they were there. Not sure what I will find in the trailer.

Not as bad as a honey bee sting. But some swelling going on, on my hand. My wife is allergic so good thing she was in the house.

War has been declared.

@Flintknapper has a good idea that could be improved on. Maybe go get a refrigerator box that is hopefully larger than the “deck box”. Slide a piece of cardboard or plastic under the deck box and cut one side off the box. Set box over deck box and seal the bottom and ends with tape but cut some access point for the wasps to enter and exit. You could use some screen and form a tunnel so the wasps can enter but not exit. Then after a day or two seal that off. Cut another few acces points to allow you to open and set the bug bomb(s) into the box and set them off, sealing any opening so no fog escapes. Wait a day or two and then open one access point and see if any wasps are active. Repeat if necessary.

Good luck!
