So last weekend I changed the oil in the gearbox of my 54" mower deck. (RCK54P23BX)
The manual says it holds .16 qts. The manual also says it should be filled to just below the check port.
Well .16 quarts didn't even come close. Once it was all said and done I had to use almost half a quart to get the level to just under the check port.
So at this point I'm not sure if I've overfilled it or not - or if it's nothing to worry about.
Anyone have any ideas? Should I drain it all out and start over?
