Greettings.
After more than a year of l3800 dt use I still find I am grinding gears. If the rpms are up and I shift gears it grinds until I locate the sweet spot.if I use the high low shifter it grinds if the rim are up. Even at low rpms it hits and takes some clutching. Allegedly the linkage is.adjusted proper. Maybe this normal.but I find it iirritating. Suggestions are appreciated.
Idk

You're not supposed to clutch and shift the gears like on a vehicle. You have to come to a complete stop, select a gear and take off.

What Eric said.

Also wait a few seconds to change gears after you push in the clutch.

A little bit of grinding at low rpm is OK, but excessive grinding is Not Good.

I rarely ever grind gears with my L3800. Just takes practice.

Yep, you have to stop to shift. I think you have to LEARN patience - it doesn't come naturally.
