Gas prices

MAN gas jumped 15 cents in the last 2 days at the truck stop its now 2.95, OR diesel 3.29

You have it a lot better than we do out on the west coast. Gas has gone up from $3.099 on March 20, 2018 to $3.499 yesterday. That price is for non-ethanol regular. I don't know what the price is for ethanol but it always seems to go up by the same percentage as the non-ethanol does. Diesel has only gone from $3.099 to $3.299 in the same timeframe.

I was griping about gassing up this morning and paying $2.45/gallon low test. Last week it was $2.30 at Sam's club. Diesel was 2.89/ gallon. Guess I'll crawl back under a rock

Non ethanol gas is around the same or slightly higher then diesel in this area.

Non ethanol is about the same as mid range around here but the only station that sells it is in pittsburgh so its not worth the run into town ,cost wise

Boy, I was just fussing about the low grade going to $2.34 a gallon here with diesel going to $2.59.

We are paying 1.25 per litre here about 4.72 per gallon with a big hike in prices coming next week. For those of us that are old enough to remember it kind of reminds me of what happened in the early 70's when they were trying to put an end to the high compression muscle cars.

Yep but now I think it aint nuttin buy greed. And check at the pump what the taxes are PA now has the highest gas tax in the country. Supposedly for roads and bridge repair and maintenance, and we has just about the worst roads and more bridges that need repaired than any place in the country. Soooooo wheres all that tax money going,, into someone's pocket to be sure

I totally agreed. Here in Canada Alberta and the government want to push the oil pipeline through but BC has their feet dug in because they don't want it. Now they have the highest gas prices in the country but as always $hit runs down hill. A lot of money on the line for the oil boys and the greedy government so in my opinion sooner or later they'll crack

then it dropped late last nite to 2.79 & 3.09...

we'll see what it does for monday morning.

Topped up the cans for the mower this morning. Low test is $2.35, high test is $2.78. Diesel is $2,78, and non ethanol was $2.98/ gallon.

Didn't check diesel, but will be filling my can next couple weeks.

Lord only knows sdk, they use any excuse that may sound plausible. What I dont understand is there are refineries on the east coast sitting idle and yet blame the storms in the gulf of mexico because they shut the refineries there down.

Your fuel prices don't seem so bad considering your country had to import almost all of its oil. On some of the smaller coastal islands here in the US we sometimes have to pay more than $5.00 per gallon for gasoline (petrol).

I remember reading some time ago about an oil discovery off the coast of Ireland but I have not read anything about that discovery recently. Whatever happened with that? Has that find ever been developed?
