So buddy who was borrowing my tractor actually put gas in the diesel tank. Ran for less than a minute. There was roughly a quarter of a tank of diesel already in there added roughly 2 gallons of gas parked as soon as he realized he put gas in there. What should be my next steps besides draining tank replacing fuel filter? Thanks for all the help in advance.

Drain completely, replace filter, and fill tank with fresh diesel.
DO NOT LOAN YOUR TRACTOR,......to ANYBODY!!!!!

Your next step should be to cease loaning your machinery to anyone!

I have had a similar circumstance where one of my B-series tractors was fueled with gasoline.

I drained the fuel tank, drained the fuel filters, drained everything. I refilled with fresh diesel. Then I cranked the engine and it fired after several seconds of cranking. At first it ran irregularly but within a minute it was running as normal. I let it idle for about 10 minutes to ensure any trace of gasoline had been removed from the fuel injection system, then put the tractor to work. That was several years ago now, so I would suggest this technique resulted in no significant harm to the tractor.

In addition to draining the tank, changing the filter I'd disconnect the injector lines and crank until you're sure you have good fuel.
