My G4200H won't start and I think it is an electrical issue. When I turn the key nothing happens. No glow plug light, no starter engagement, nothing. I checked the battery voltage with a multi-meter and checked voltage to the chasis ground and they are both good. There is voltage to the starter relay. If I jump across the relay terminals the engine trys to turn over. So I thought I had a bad ignition switch and replaced it, but still nothing. I read another post where someone traced the hot wire down the circuit from the battery. What I don't understand how the 12 v gets from the relay to other components. There's the hot wire terminal, ground wire terminal, and what I think is a control wire on the starter relay.
I also checked the 10 amp fuse and it is good. Not sure what it is for though. Someone also mentioned a fusible link in another post. I don't see that anywhere. I also found a yellow wire with red stripe that is not connected to anything near the starter but I don't see anything to connect it to there.
Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!
